Poindexter Surety Services was established in the year 2000 as a subsidiary of Poindexter & Associates, Inc., a North Carolina coporation. The spin-off was accomplished to allow Poindexter & Associates, Inc., to return to its core business as declared in its charter. Poindexter & Associates, Inc., continues to provide insurance fraud investigation and loss runoff operations independently of Poindexter Surety, and offering skip trace and fugitive recovery support to Poindexter Surety bail agent partners.
