There are however states where individual counties or municipalities have some or complete responsibility for bail agent/bondsman licensing and regulation. If you are interested in obtaining information about and insurance company, most specifically its financial strength, capitalization, state of domicile, NAIC number, and FEIN, you can research the company through A.M. Best, here. If you would like to obtain a copy of an insurance company's current or past financial statement(s) and consumer complaint history, you may do so by visiting the Consumer Information Source portal (CIS) of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, here. |
